How to Declare a Physics Major
How To Declare a Physics major:
- You can declare Physics as your major at any time, but the department recommends that you take PC241 and PC242 before declaring.
- You will need a Physics faculty member to be your advisor. You may ask a Physics professor you know to be your advisor, or you may ask the Physics chair to assign an advisor to you.
- You will need to fill out the Registrar’s Office online Major Declaration Form and list the Physics professor who agreed to be your advisor.
- Submit the form online to the registrar who will send the completed form to your Physics advisor and to the Physics chair for approval.
